Speeding up the Coast

After the incredible hike on Hornemann OE, we kept plugging away north. Our first stop was the village of Isertoq.

After a short stop at Isertoq we sailed on. Our next stop was back to Tasiilaq to let Stig and Per Morten experience the place since they weren’t with us last time where there.

We tried our luck on the local pub, but when we arrived they just had closed because they were out of beer.

On our way into Tasiilaq Mari, Catrine, Marselius, Vegar and Bent had spotted a mountain they would like to climb, so early the next morning they headed of.

After they were back from their hike, we headed of once again. Our goal for the day was the village Tiniteqilaq, about 35 nautical miles for Tasiilaq. We arrived there late at night, and after a tricky approach we were ready to explore.

For the next day we had big plans. Early in the morning Lars would drive everyone except Atle and Stein ashore. They would then walk from one fjord to another, while Lars, Atle and Stein moved the boat around. This turned out quite the ride for both parties. But more about that in the next post.
